Bookkeeper/Office Manager

Job Description

EditShare is an Emmy award winning company and technology leader in broadcast and post-production hardware and software. We are seeking a talented and up-beat bookkeeper/office manager to work in our Watertown office. The candidate in this roll will take on a variety of accounting, human resource, and administrative duties and report directly to the CFO and CEO.


  • Vendor invoice verification and processing
  • Assist with timely preparation of journal entries, supporting schedules, and reconciliations
  • A/R invoicing and collections
  • Processing build assemblies to properly adjust inventory for factory activities
  • Maintenance of monthly commission payable spreadsheets
  • Populate cash flow reports
  • Compiling and submission of state sales tax returns
  • Process employee expense reports
  • Track paid time off and assist with payroll
  • Be the first point of contact for benefits related questions during open enrollment and throughout the year
  • Provide internal customer service to managers and employees on HR policies and practices
  • Responsible for recruitment and new hire on-boarding
  • Work with CEO and CFO on updating the company handbook
  • Answer general phone line
  • Order office supplies to maintain a fully-stocked office
  • Provide a high level of customer service to employees, managers, internal and external partners
  • Provide support on ad-hoc requests and related special projects, as required
  • Plan office events such as catered lunches and holiday party
  • Other tasks as assigned

Skills & Requirements:

  • 2+ years of accounting experience
  • 1+ years of human resource/office management experience
  • B.A. or B.S. degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to multitask, stay organized, and prioritize
  • Experience with Quickbooks
  • Positive attitude and willingness to help when needed

Desirable skills:

  • QuickBooks Enterprise for Manufacturing and Wholesale
  • Strong understanding of QuickBooks Inventory Build Assemblies module
  • Purchasing
  • ADP Totalsource

Plus points:

  • Understanding of financial accounting systems
  • Processing expense reports/Expensify
